Over the last the last school year I have noticed that I always seem to get sick on my breaks from school usually a couple of days after I take my final. So with this week being finals I googled the relationship between the stress of final exams and the effect it has on your health and found an article at
http://scienceline.org/2007/01/ask-anderson-finalscough/ that had taken blood samples from college students before and after exams to measure the immunity level. This test showed that certain immune cells decreased after college exams leaving an individual opened to getting sick.

Occupational Therapy in th e classroom....
Many occupational therapist work in school settings. One thing that OT's are asked to address in the school is a child's mental health which entails facilitating ways to increase a child's ability to successfully perform mental functions. This helps a child be successful with completing tasks and having successful relationships with their teacher's and classmates as well as their ability to handle various types of adversity the all children face.
